This beautiful depiction of the blossoms and intertwined tendrils of the honeysuckle was created by May Morris, who followed in the footsteps of her famous father William as a designer of embroidery and wallpaper and at times was the head of the embroidery department at Morris & Company. Her design from 1883 has lost none of its liveliness and spring-like zest and beauty. It provides the perfect setting for antique wooden furniture or white furnishing elements.
